When it comes to the design aspect for self builds, we use 3D models to bring the house to life so you can see not only how the house will look, but also how it will function, which is very important as the house needs to work for your lifestyle. The principle of development can often be already established so a careful design led approach considering local policy is often advised.

Planning Applications

To provide you with the best chance of Planning approval, along with avoiding any unwanted modifications or compromises to the house design, we strongly advise you involve us in your self-build prior to the design stage.

With Planning Applications, we recommend submitting a Full Planning Statement, supported by a design and access statement to ensure the best chance of success.

If you have already submitted your application and the local planning authority have asked for mandatory documents, such as a heritage statement, we can also provide this information to support your application.
