Should the local planning authority determine to refuse your planning application, we can oversee all types of planning appeal depending upon the nature of your proposal. All appeals are determined by the Planning Inspectorate who now has more say on which type of appeal route is applicable to each proposal. Some appeals are dealt with purely by way of written representations and for this method our planning consultants have a successful track record.
Other appeals are conducted by way of an informal hearing (where we have the opportunity to present your case orally in a round table discussion with the Planning Inspector, local planning authority and any interested third parties) or public inquiry.
Depending upon the complexity of the appeal our team of planning solicitors can represent you – whether this is at an informal hearing or a public inquiry requiring advocacy and cross-examination.
Whatever the appeal route, we continue working towards achieving your goals and negotiating with the local planning authority to achieve a solution if necessary.
